A set of two Art Deco objects, crafted from a combination of marble and brass. The set embodies the aesthetic of the period through the use of geometric shapes and stylized animal figures. These decorative pieces are composed of different types of marble, including a dark, almost black variant with contrasting veins, and lighter, cream-colored and reddish-brown marble types. The stylized deer figures are made of brass with a dark patina, forming an elegant contrast with the stone base. The layered, architectural design is characteristic of the Art Deco style from the early 20th century. The overall condition is good and consistent with the age and use of the objects. The materials show an authentic character that emphasizes the historical value of the set. The combination of rich materials and refined design makes this a distinctive ensemble. This set is an elegant addition to a desk, dresser, or bookshelf. The objects can serve as a photo holder, bookend, or as a standalone decorative element in a classic, eclectic, or Art Deco interior. They were formerly photo holders. Unfortunately, the glass plates are no longer present. These are easy to replace. The opening is 6 mm between the marble blocks. They weigh a total of 3.5 kg.
