Vintage Sixties Industrial Art Deco/Brutalist standing Metal Coat rack, made of thick steel wire (9 mm), where four tubes are held together by three square plates. The tubes of different lengths are each decorated at the top with a small wooden ball, which, like the metal, is painted black.
The tubes form a star shape at the bottom, forming the base, with a black ball in the middle, also made of wood and painted black. There are six hooks, made of bent thinner steel wire, that can be placed at random heights and positions.
The design exudes Art Deco, but also Space Age, considering the design (the legs) and the style of Charles Rennie Macintosh, the square shape, the uneven lengths, and the balls. In short, versatile, so it fits into many interiors.
The designer is unknown, as is the manufacturer.
The whole is of very good quality, almost unused, with some signs of wear on the balls (see photos).
