Radius Diagonales - Lucille Roebuck Keeler - Lithography - USA - 1965 - Signed, dated, framed - 28 cm x 28 cm (unframed) - 30 cm x 30 cm (framed) - This is an unnumbered artist's copy of 230 editions + 65 hors commerce which were unnumbered. Publisher Panderma, Basel. 1965. A rare, limited edition from the "La Lune en Rodage" collection. Collection assembled by Carl Laslzo, which included the greatest artists of the time, such as Enrico Castellani, Piero Manzoni... Freshly framed in the rules of art, matte black square rush and Marie-Louise. Lucile Keeler [1902-1996] American artist born in Chicago. Graduated from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. In the 1930s, she studied at the Art Institute of Chicago under landscape and portrait painter Francis Chapin. In 1935, she moved into a house with a large studio at the back, built for her to work in. It was here that all her works, and in particular her lithographs, saw the light of day. Her work is exhibited in galleries throughout the Chicago area. In 1990 she moved to Phoenix, where she died in 1996.
