Very elegant sideboard designed by the great Danish designer Arne Vodder. Produced in the 1950s by Sibast, Denmark. This piece is of very high quality and very timeless thanks to its minimalist and clean design. The sideboard is made of teak and has two sliding doors with a total of three shelves behind the doors. The sliding doors have a beautiful finish on both sides. One side of the door is teak and the other side of the door is black. This way, you can choose whether you want a cabinet entirely in teak or with black details. In addition, the sideboard contains 7 drawers with the iconic handles that blend perfectly into the design. Finally, the sideboard contains a compartment with a flap behind which a shelf is hidden. Here too, the top is provided with black Formica. Not only a feast for the eyes, but also practical to use thanks to plenty of storage space. The back is also beautifully finished in teak, so the sideboard can also be placed in the middle of the room. The legs of the sideboard are thin and tapered, giving it the impression of floating above the floor and giving a feeling of lightness. The sideboard measures 250 cm in width, 47 cm in depth and 80 cm in height. The sideboard is marked inside with a manufacturer's brand plate. Arne Vodder is known for his contributions to modern Danish design, especially during the heyday of Danish furniture design in the 1950s and 1960s. He worked closely with major Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen, Sibast and Niels Vodder (his father), designing a number of iconic pieces that are still appreciated today for their timeless aesthetics and craftsmanship.
