Antique faux bamboo mirror with original spotted mirror plate, entirely in Chinoiserie style, this style was very popular in the Art Nouveau period, originating from France, first half of the 20th century. This beautiful wooden frame is turned and worked to resemble real bamboo, hence the name faux bamboo. This piece bears a very beautiful weathered age patina; the mirror glass is oxidized and spotted, which often occurs with very old mirrors and is highly sought after by collectors and lovers of authentic antiques. This object is in very good antique condition, with age and use marks appropriate for its age, but nothing disturbing. Check the photos for more details! Dimensions: 40x34x3cm. Weight: 1.346kg.
