Antique Neuenburger Eluxa "Swiss Made" Pendulum with Serial Number 37775 and Signature S. Sutter, 1950s-1970s
Neuenburger table pendulum produced by Eluxa, a renowned Swiss brand founded in 1947 in Biel, known for its high-quality craftsmanship. This specimen features a classic design with a red lacquered wooden case hand-decorated with floral motifs and golden finishes, typical of the Régence or Louis XVI style.
• Technical Details: Manually wound mechanical movement with anchor escapement, probable autonomy of 8 days. It includes a bell for the ringing (hours or half hours), visible in the internal movement.
• Unique characteristics: On the back of the case is engraved with the signature "S. Sutter", probably of a Swiss craftsman or restorer, and the serial number "37775", which could indicate a specific lot or customisation.
