Extraordinary 19th century oil lamp which is made of brass with red copper. This lamp was subsequently converted to electric and now runs on a standard E27 socket. This unique example is of very heavy quality made in England and beautifully decorated. The lamp stands on impressive lion feet and the stem is decorated with acanthus leaves made of red copper. The lamp has new wiring, socket and plug and also has a new lampshade which is anthracite in color. If desired, the lampshade can easily be covered with a fabric of your choice. The lamp is adjustable in height.
