Beautiful antique religious devotional crucifix (house altar) from the 19th century in excellent condition. This unique object is placed in a deep, oval wooden frame and completely enclosed with the original, characteristic convex glass. The crucifix itself is very finely crafted in high-quality brass with openwork filigree relief and features the INRI shield. The Christ figure (corpus cristi) is raised on a magnificent deep red burgundy velvet background, which creates a beautiful deep contrast. The oval frame is provided with a gold-colored decorative inner edge. This object is in excellent authentic condition and the glass is completely chip-free and intact. Will be shipped with the necessary care.
