From the archetype, on the one hand, the woman is seen as a symbol for the (primeval) mother; the symbol of origin and motherhood; passing on life. On the other hand, the woman is seen as a symbol of goddess in which the mystical, the strength, wisdom and knowledge are personified.

Vanuit het archetype wordt de vrouw aan de ene kant als symbool voor de (oer) moeder gezien; het symbool van oorsprong en moederschap; het doorgeven van het leven. Aan de andere kant wordt de vrouw gezien als symbool van godin waarin het mystieke, de kracht, wijsheid en kennis in gepersonifieerd zijn.
