A beautiful table by AH McIntosh of Scotland designed by T Robertson as part of the Dunvegan range, known for its excellent quality and craftsmanship. This table is the smallest of the range often referred to as the T1 making it far more practical for a range of spaces.
The table inspired by Danish design principles of the time is made from teak and teak veneer upon beautifully shaped Afromosia legs. It contains an internal butterfly extension leaf which simply folds out from beneath the two sides leaf once they are parted. A double ball catch on each leaf locks when the extension leaf is not in use. The table can comfortably seat 6 when extended.
Condition is very good with minor age related marks from usage as expected with a table of this age and has recently been refinished in satin.
