A rare design classic by German designer Adolf Wrenger. This table is a stunning example of how the expressive forms of the Amsterdam School and Art Deco lived on in the craftsmanship of the 1950s.
The table is characterized by a solid construction featuring a beautiful star-shaped pattern on the tabletop (see photos 2 and 3) and a functional second shelf, ideal for magazines or accessories. The design is strongly reminiscent of the work of Dutch greats from the early 20th century, but executed with the refinement of the Mid-Century period.
