Product description
Two rare, original 1960s Space Age metal wall lamps.
Designed by Klaus Hempel for Kaiser Leuchten. Made in Germany.
Beautiful, minimalist design typical of the 1960s.
The lamps consist of two parts: a front section made of yellow/orange and black lacquered metal, and a back section made of black lacquered metal housing with the socket.
The two parts simply slot together; the screws serve only to hold the spring in place.
No damage; very good vintage condition. Minor signs of use and patina.
The black paint on the back is flaking off in some places, but this is not visible once the lamp is mounted.
100% original condition and fully functional.
Each lamp takes one E14 bulb (up to 40 watts).
