Product description
Set of 7 Costes dining chairs
Original, designed by Philippe Starck (France) for Driade (Italy) in the 1980s.
The condition is very good, with only a few negligible and very minor signs of wear consistent with the age and design of this chair (you always have some). Overall, it's very clean!
All chairs are marked on the bottom with the 'Aleph Driade' sticker and 'Starck' engraved into the shell.
The dimensions are as follows:
Width: 47 cm
Height: 80 cm (backrest)
Height: 47 cm (seat)
Depth: 54 cm
This model is one of the most famous, originally designed for the Parisian café Costes. This chair has only three legs, not only for design reasons, but also to reduce the risk of stumble while serving. The Costes chair was designed in 1985.
