About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of six Dining chairs, designed by Gijs Papavoine for the Dutch manufacturer Montis. The chairs are executed in a combination of red leather and a stainless steel base. It concerns the iconic Spica model, known for its elegant silhouette and high-quality seating comfort. The chairs are manufactured with upholstery of supple red leather and rest on a minimalist, sled-leg-like frame of stainless steel (RVS). Papavoine's design for Montis is characterized by an interplay of clean lines and an inviting, organic shape. This results in a timeless piece of furniture that is representative of the Dutch Design movement. The overall condition of the set is good and shows a character that matches its age and careful use. Both the leather and the stainless steel frame are well-maintained and retain their original aesthetic qualities. The construction of each chair is solid and functional. These Spica chairs form a refined addition to a modern dining room. The design combines effortlessly with both wooden and glass dining tables and fits within various interior styles, from minimalist to more eclectic.
