The chairs were designed in the 50/60s by Charlotte Perriand for the ski area Les Arcs. Charlotte Perriand worked with Les Corbusier for many years and thus shaped the Bauhaus era. The chairs stand for this functional and clear Bauhaus design.
The chairs are made of tubular steel and leather. They have been heavily used and have traces of use according to the last 60 years of use. However, it is precisely this patina that makes up the charm of original Bauhaus furniture.
Beautiful strongly patinated condition! Clear signs of use present!
