Product description
Set of 6 Stammplatz chairs, designed by Alfredo Häberli. The Stammplatz is inspired by traditional, handcrafted chairs from the Alps. The recognizable archetype has been translated into a contemporary design with a characteristic curved backrest and meticulously crafted construction. This Stammplatz model is normally only available in larger quantities for projects. This set comes from stock and has been carefully stored for a considerable time. The chairs have never been used regularly, but only deployed for an international design fair and a few photo shoots. • Solid oak seat, base, and legs • Curved backrest of oak veneer • Naturally oiled and fitted with felt glides • H 76 × W 52 × D 50 cm; seat height 46 cm The chairs are in very good condition and have no damage. Small knots and variations in grain are natural characteristics of oak. One backrest has a small ballpoint pen mark of approximately 2 cm, visible in the last photo. New price: at least €4,800 Asking price for the complete set: €1,450 Offered as a one-time complete set due to clearing warehouse space.
