A striking, sculptural set of six Miss chairs, designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa in 1986 and produced by Molteni. Rooted in traditional craftsmanship yet unmistakably modern, Miss is defined by a rhythmic, flowing system of lines: slender, splayed legs for stability; front legs that bend into the armrests and continue into the back curve; and rear legs that reach up from behind to support the backrest. The seat appears neatly suspended within this architectural frame, giving the chair its refined, graphic presence.
