Set of six vintage ice cream cups by Guy Degrenne, made of 18/10 stainless steel and manufactured in France in the 1970s-1980s. Each piece features a round bowl with soft lines, set on a short, flared base. The simple and balanced design reflects the functional elegance of tableware from this period. Founded in Normandy in 1948, the Guy Degrenne company largely supported the rise of stainless steel in French interiors. Coming from a family of blacksmiths, Guy Degrenne made this modern and durable material one of the brand's signatures. These six cups fully illustrate this production. Their sleek design spans the decades without losing its crispness, while the polished stainless steel catches the light and creates beautiful silver reflections. The underside bears the stamp Guy Degrenne, Inox 18/10, Made in France. It confirms the French manufacture and the quality of the steel used. The set shows usual traces and small scratches, typical of used vintage tableware. They remain visible in the photographs and do not detract from the harmony of the six pieces. Complete and homogeneous, this set accurately attests to the renewal of French tableware in the 1970s-1980s.
