Product description
Beautiful set of five antique Prague 811 chairs. These chairs were designed in 1925 by Josef Hoffmann and produced by Thonet. The markings are no longer present.
The chairs feature a very fine, elegant design due to the curved wood. The light rattan seats and backrests contrast beautifully with the dark wood. The seats and backrests are hand-woven.
The chairs are in beautiful condition. The lacquer shows some wear, which actually contributes to the authentic appearance of these chairs. The rattan is in good condition and remains taut. Some imperfections are present; see photos for details. One chair was presumably purchased later by the owners and is therefore darker in color.
