4x vintage Thonet chairs, bentwood.
A classic, variant in the well-known Model 24 series.
Authentic. As I understand it, made in the 1970s in Romania, officially for Thonet using Thonet molds. 'Made in Romania' is stamped on the bottom. I cannot read the black stamp in a triangle very well.
This Art Deco back is rare. Model 24 is a classic and is very comfortable. Rounded back and armrests at a relaxed height.
Beautifully worn armrests (patina). The seats have fine grain patterns. One chair has a repaired leg: the original screw is missing at the connection point. Stripes on the back of the legs.
These 4 Thonets have been used in the same household for 56 years. Would they be suitable for your home?
