Product description
The Saarinen Model 72 dining chair from Knoll International is a true design icon. Introduced in 1950 by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen, this chair reflects his signature vision of sculptural simplicity and refined modernism.
Characterized by its elegant base and gently curved seat, the chair offers both visual lightness and ergonomic comfort. This particular piece is reupholstered in the premium Pierre Frey "Yeti" fabric—a richly textured, hairy bouclé that adds depth, tactile qualities, and a distinctive, exclusive character.
Timeless yet expressive, the Model 72 remains a celebrated symbol of mid-century design—a seamless combination of innovation, craftsmanship, and high-quality materials.
This particular set was manufactured in 1972 under license from Knoll by wb-form in Switzerland (see label).
