This model truly lives up to its name. With "Beau Soleil" (Beautiful Sun), the Digoin Sarreguemines faience factory created luminous, generous tableware, where the design seems to have retained something of sunny days. These four deep plates feature a very lovely polychrome floral decoration. Blue, yellow, and wine-red flowers intermingle with vibrant green foliage in a dynamic composition that graces the rim without encroaching on the center. The faience's radiant relief delicately catches the light, lending the set its distinct presence. The well is accentuated by a thin blue circle that structures the design and adds an elegant graphic touch. Produced by the Digoin Sarreguemines Faience Factory in the first half of the 20th century, circa , they bear the factory's mark on the reverse. Measuring approximately 23 cm in diameter, they are in impeccable condition, with a decoration that has retained all the vibrancy of its colors.
