This is a set of four Dining chairs in the style of Marcel Breuer's iconic Cesca design. These chairs are a prime example of Bauhaus modernism, combining industrial materials with traditional craftsmanship for a timeless silhouette. The chairs are crafted with a cantilevered tubular frame of chrome-plated steel, providing subtle suspension and a light, floating appearance. The seats and backrests are inlaid with rattan webbing, set in a frame of natural lacquered wood. The seats feature new webbing, ensuring a taut and sturdy seating surface. The combination of cool metal, warm wood, and natural rattan is characteristic of this 1920s design. Overall, the chairs are in good, vintage condition appropriate for their age. The contrast between the renewed webbing on the seats and the original patina on the rest of the chair gives the set an authentic character.
