These Art Deco 'barrel' armchairs (Side chairs) date from the years 1920–1930. They are characterized by an elegant wooden frame (often made of walnut or oak wood) with a characteristic, smoothly continuous semicircular backrest and armrest. Original upholstery. The upholstery has a striking botanical pattern with leaves in warm autumn tones (brown, gold, and black), which is typical of luxurious fabrics from the early twentieth century. This type of furniture was widely used at the time in chic salons, hotel lobbies, or as stylish armchairs around a smoking table.
