Product description
A striking set of three Showtime armchairs, designed by Jaime Hayon for BD Barcelona in 2007.
The Showtime collection captures Hayon’s unmistakable design language: theatrical and playful, yet executed with exceptional craftsmanship.
Each chair combines a sculptural moulded-plywood shell in natural and black finishes with a diamond-quilted black leather seat, cognac leather armrest pads and a distinctive burgundy-red tubular-steel sled base.
Contrasting colours, materials and expressive details give the chairs an almost character-like presence.
The curved wooden sides embrace the sitter, while the open backrest and slender frame keep the design visually light. Decorative button fittings complete the bold, highly recognisable composition.
The chairs are in near-new condition, with only minimal signs of previous use. The wood, leather, armrests and frames remain exceptionally well preserved.
