Product description
This set of two cantilever chairs from Knoll International embodies the essence of Bauhaus design. Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1930, originally for the Villa Tugendhat in Brno, it remains a milestone in modern furniture history.
The chairs feature a striking, cantilevered frame made of chrome-plated tubular steel, providing an elegant yet sturdy base. The seat and back are upholstered in leather, with one chair in black and the other in dark brown. The dimensions are 54 cm wide, 58 cm deep, and 76 cm high, with a comfortable seat height of 45 cm.
Both chairs are in good condition and display an authentic patina that speaks to their history. The combination of the two leather colors gives the set a unique character, while the structural integrity remains completely intact.
