Marie started from an elliptical seat for Paulette, which gives the chair a very unique expression. The backrest follows the curve of the ellipse and allows for multiple seating positions, from simply sitting upright at the table, to a more sideways, relaxed pose, one arm loosely supported on the backrest. Like the table, the chair comes in oak ebony black, but additionally in a warm ochre shade, deep green or ivory, colors inspired by nature.
