Als sinds 1964 produceert Rolf Benz banken en staat sindsdien bekend om zijn uitgesproken ontwerpen. De productie vindt plaats in een klein dorpje aan de rand van het Zwarte Woud: 100% Made in Germany. Het meubilair is gemaakt om je in te laten verzinken en ontspannen. Een bank is bedoeld als een plek waar je alle stress even los kan laten. Van 2000 tot 2010 slaagde Rolf Benz er in zich als hét designmerk voor luxe “Made in Germany” banken te positioneren. Dat was tevens ook de definitieve sprong naar de internationale top van de meubelindustrie.
