Product description
This is a set of two 'About a Stool' AAS38 barstools from the Danish design brand Hay. Designed by Hee Welling, these stools are a great example of Scandinavian minimalism, known for their simple lines and functional form.
The design features a gracefully curved seat shell made from recycled black plastic, offering comfort and support. This rests on a slender, sled-style base constructed from black powder-coated steel. With a total height of 85 cm and a seat height of 74 cm, these stools are perfectly scaled for kitchen counters or home bars that are between 100 and 105 cm high. The stools have a width of 50 cm and a depth of 48 cm.
These stools have been used and show some signs of their previous life, which contributes to their character. Their overall condition is good, and they remain structurally sound and ready for use. The all-black colourway gives them a versatile, graphic quality that fits into many different interior styles.
