A pair of authentic, more recent Carl Hansen & Søn editions, finished in a refined grey lacquer. Both chairs have been professionally rewoven with new natural Danish paper cord, preserving the traditional envelope weave while providing decades of future use. They remain in excellent condition with only light traces of wear consistent with careful use, making them an elegant and timeless addition to both contemporary and classic interiors. Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1949, the CH24 Wishbone Chair is one of the defining icons of Danish Modern design. Introduced by Carl Hansen & Søn in 1950 and remaining in continuous production ever since, the chair perfectly embodies Wegner's philosophy of combining sculptural elegance with exceptional comfort. Its distinctive steam-bent top rail, graceful Y-shaped back support and handwoven paper cord seat create a design that is both visually light and remarkably durable.
