CH25 Lounge Chair - Timeless craftsmanship with a revolutionary touch
The CH25 lounge chair by Hans J. Wegner is a paragon of simplicity and elegance. Its clean silhouette and natural forms make it a true design classic. Yet its introduction caused a stir at the time: Wegner actually chose an innovative material - braided paper cord - as an alternative to sea grass. Originally developed during World War II, it had never before been used in furniture design. Wegner believed in the aesthetics and durability of this material - and many still do decades later.
