Title: Pair of Vintage Mid-Century Armchairs – Model H-410 (attributed) – Jindřich Halabala for UP Závody
For sale is a beautiful, harmonious pair of design classics from Czechoslovakian Mid-Century Modern design. The Armchairs are attributed to the famous designer Jindřich Halabala (Model H-410) and were manufactured by UP Závody around the 1940s/1950s.
The absolute highlight are the elegant, steam-bent armrests made from a single piece of beech wood, which give the Armchairs their dynamic and timeless shape. As a pair, they are perfect for a stylish living room or a noble lounge area.
Condition: Both Armchairs are in very good vintage condition. The wooden elements show a beautiful, warm patina with minimal, age-related signs of wear. They were professionally and traditionally reupholstered some time ago with a high-quality, structured upholstery fabric in a strong green tone. The classic spring suspension was retained. Straps may not be original.
