Antique 19th-century Vera Cruz reliquary crucifix containing a relic of the True Cross.
A striking devotional object in brass-toned metal, standing on a richly decorated pedestal base.
The reverse contains an oval reliquary under glass, approximately 4.4 × 5.5 cm, with the inscription “VERA CRUZ” clearly visible.
The reliquary retains its old red threads and ecclesiastical wax seal, still preserved on the reverse.

French Pyrenean provenance, Ariège region.
Very good antique condition with natural patina, oxidation and minor traces of age. The reliquary glass, threads and wax seal are preserved.
