Beautiful and rare 19th-century adjustable library chair by Horrix, upholstered in black leather with decorative brass nails. The chair can be set in different positions and is marked “Horrix” on the underside. The elegant wavy wooden frame radiates craftsmanship and quality, typical of the renowned Horrix workshop from The Hague. Dimensions: approx. 115 cm high × 73 cm wide × 70 cm deep. Material: solid wood, black leather, brass nails. Condition: very good condition for its age, with only minor signs of use. Period: circa 1870 Royal Dutch Furniture Makers. A striking and authentic piece that showcases the refined craftsmanship of 19th-century Dutch furniture making.
