Product description
The Ekornes Stressless armchair, presented here in its first edition, is an iconic design from Norway that combines comfort and functionality. This model, manufactured in the 1970s, is known for its innovative adjustment mechanism and distinctive silhouette that laid the foundation for decades of ergonomic furniture. This set consists of the original armchair and the matching footstool, both upholstered in supple red leather. The frame is crafted from chrome-plated tubular steel, ensuring a sturdy and elegant base. The quilted cushions offer a rich texture and contribute to the inviting character of the design. An original label stating 'Made in Norway' confirms the provenance of this piece of furniture. The armchair and footstool are in a condition commensurate with age and use, with the leather having developed an authentic patina. The construction is fully functional and retains its original charm. This piece of furniture comes into its own perfectly in a vintage or eclectic interior, where it serves as a striking and comfortable resting point. The warm red leather forms a strong contrast with modern or industrial elements in the room.
