Product description
Large Italian Modernist pendant light from the 1970s, featuring a sculptural white Murano glass shade and lacquered metal suspension system. The impressive dome-shaped shade measures 62 cm (24.4 in) in diameter and displays the elegant simplicity associated with Italian lighting of the period. Its smooth white glass provides a warm, softly diffused illumination, while the refined clear glass detail around the perimeter emphasizes the broad architectural silhouette. An especially interesting feature is the adjustable suspension mechanism, combining a steel cable with lacquered components and metal fittings. The overall hanging height can also be shortened or extended upon request free of charge before shipping, allowing the fixture to be adapted to different ceiling heights. The metal components have been carefully repolished. The electrical system is in working order and has been checked by an electrician. Minor signs of use and age remain, consistent with the vintage character of the piece. The lamp uses one E26/E27 bulb and is compatible with US bulbs.
