A vintage coffee table by the Dutch manufacturer Bovenkamp, dating from the Space Age era. This piece, produced in 1958, is a characteristic example of post-war Dutch design, recognizable by its distinctive triangular shape.
The table is crafted with a grey speckled Formica top, resting on a black lacquered wooden base with three tapered legs. The combination of durable, easy-to-maintain Formica and the organic shape of the top was a modern choice at the time. The construction is typical of 1950s furniture, where functionality and a minimalist aesthetic come together.
