Sell to interior designers and architects

Pro Buyer is Whoppah's programme for professional buyers: interior designers, architects, stylists, stagers and hospitality businesses. They buy often and in larger numbers.

As a business seller you can give these buyers one fixed discount on your whole shop, the Pro Buyer discount. It lets you reach buyers who keep coming back, without changing your regular price.

You set the discount in My ads. You'll find more explanation and a worked example on the Pro Buyer page for sellers.

Interior designers, architects, stylists, stagers and hospitality businesses. Whoppah checks every business before it gets access. Only approved Pro Buyers see the Pro Buyer price.

1. Go to My ads. Above your ads you'll see the Pro Buyer discount block.
2. Switch the toggle on.
3. Pick a percentage. 15% is preselected; that's what we recommend.
4. Click Save.

After that, every active ad shows a label with the discount and the Pro Buyer price. The discount also applies to everything you list from then on.

You only see the block with a business account. Would you rather we set it up for you? Contact our customer service.

You can choose 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 35% or 40%. We recommend 15%: professional buyers expect a real discount, and your margin stays healthy.

You pick one percentage for your whole shop. You can change it at any time in My ads.

The discount applies to all your active ads and to everything you list from then on. Drafts, ads still in review, and sold or reserved ads get no Pro Buyer price. As soon as an ad goes live, it gets the discount automatically.

Change the price of an ad? The Pro Buyer price updates with it.

Not yet. The discount applies to your whole shop. You can lower the percentage or switch the discount off for a while in My ads.

The Pro Buyer price is your asking price minus your discount percentage, rounded down to whole euros. Example: € 1,850 with a 15% discount becomes € 1,572.

Worked example

• Asking price: € 1,000
• Pro Buyer discount 15%: the Pro Buyer pays € 850
• Commission 16% (excl. VAT) on € 850: € 136
• You receive: € 714

Change: go to My ads, click Change in the Pro Buyer discount block, pick another percentage and click Save.

Switch off: switch the toggle off and confirm with Switch off. Pro Buyers then see the regular price on all your ads straight away. We keep the percentage you chose, so you can switch the discount back on with one click later.

A change applies to all your active ads at once. Sales that already happened don't change.

No. The Pro Buyer price is only visible to logged-in, approved Pro Buyers. Everyone else sees the regular price in search results, on the ad page and in shared links.

As the seller you see the Pro Buyer price on your own ads, so you know what a Pro Buyer pays.

An accepted bid takes priority. The Pro Buyer price only applies to Buy now.

Yes, on the regular price. A bid and the Pro Buyer discount are never combined.

Your sale notification, the order page and the chat show a Pro Buyer label next to the buyer, with the price breakdown: asking price, discount, sale price, commission and payout.

No, the Pro Buyer discount is only available to sellers with a business account. If a business account changes to a private account, the discount switches off automatically.
