Product description
This is a vintage ceiling light from the Swedish manufacturer Örsjö Belysning, designed by Åke Hultgren. It is the 'Puck' ceiling light, a true design classic from the Space Age era, here in the rarer version with six spots.
The lamp is made of white lacquered metal. The six spherical 'eyeball' spots are mounted on a round ceiling plate and can all be individually rotated and directed. This makes the lamp super flexible for illuminating different parts of a room, such as wall art or a reading nook. The perforations on the back of the spheres are a characteristic detail of the design, intended for heat dissipation.
The lamp is in good, working vintage condition and retains its original finish. The overall appearance is neat and the spots remain firmly in the desired position, which testifies to the solid Swedish craftsmanship.
With its playful yet functional design, this lamp fits perfectly into a Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian or eclectic interior. It is a striking piece that provides both ambiance and directed lighting in a living room, hallway or office.
