Product description
Give your interior a stylish Danish upgrade with this vintage Jeka layered lamp! Are you looking for a unique statement piece for above the dining table, kitchen island, or in a cozy seating area? This characteristic Danish pendant lamp by Jeka Belysning exudes the iconic atmosphere of the Mid-Century Modern era. Jeka is known for its refined metal layered lamps, built according to the famous Danish lighting tradition originally pioneered by Poul Henningsen (Louis Poulsen). The clever, multi-layered louver system breaks the light in a fantastic way. This creates a warm, atmospheric, and diffuse light effect without looking directly at the light source. Why this Jeka lamp is special: Danish Lighting Icon: Manufactured in Denmark within the well-known tradition of masters like Jo Hammerborg (Fog & Mørup), Bent Karlby (Lyfa), and Svend Middelboe (Nordisk Solar). Characteristic Light Distribution: The multi-layered bowl system reflects the light both downwards and subtly between the shades for a beautiful spatial effect. Perfectly Proportional: With a diameter of 30 cm, this lamp is ideal for smaller spaces as well as paired above a longer dining table or bar. Versatile & Atmospheric: Timeless design that seamlessly fits into a Scandinavian, Japandi, vintage, or modern interior. Specifications & Condition: Manufacturer: Jeka Belysning (Denmark) Period: approx. 1970 (Mid-Century Modern / Space Age) Material: Metal Dimensions: Diameter (width/depth): 30 cm | Height: 19 cm Socket: Standard E27 socket (suitable for LED) Condition: In good, working condition with light vintage traces of use and age. Price & Bidding: A sought-after design object for lovers of original Scandinavian lighting. Nonsensical bids will be removed; this lamp deserves a beautiful place with someone who has an eye for style and design. Pickup / Shipping: Pickup is preferred.
