Product description
This is a vintage wall light, model 11/0039, designed by Klaus Hempel for the German manufacturer Kaiser Leuchten. The design is a characteristic example of the Space Age aesthetic from the 1970s, characterized by its organic forms and bold use of color. The lamp is made from a combination of materials typical of that period. The base consists of a square ceramic housing with rounded corners, finished with a vibrant orange glaze with a speckled 'fat lava' effect. The central element is a brushed aluminum reflector that diffuses the light from the mirrored head bulb in an atmospheric, indirect way. The dimensions of the lamp are approximately 21 cm in width, 21 cm in depth, and 10 cm in height. The overall condition of the lamp is good, consistent with its age and use. The colors are still vibrant and the glaze has retained its shine, contributing to the authentic character of the object. The original wiring is present and functional, as shown in the images.
