Product description
Sailboat with No. E.4 ceramic . Made by sculptor Ditmar Urbach . Sailboat was made in Czechoslovakia around 1935. Glazed ceramic boat in very good condition, though age related craquelé and a stress crack, no cracks. Factory stamp at bottom 34 x 31 x 9 cm 1175 grams 1.2 Kilo Porcelain works of Ditmar-Urbach operated from 1882 to 1938 under different names in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia (later Trnovany, Czechoslovakia). The factory began as brothers Urbach. It merged in 1919 with a factory owned by the heirs of Rudolf Ditmar and became Ditmar-Urbach. The Nazis took over the factory from its Jewish owners in 1938 and it became part of Ostmark-ceramic. SHIPPING COSTS: Shipping cost is what I have to pay to ship it, nothing more.
