Product description
This is the screen print 'Butterfly' by the Dutch artist Lindy de Jong, produced in 1992. The work stands out due to its vibrant colors and the expressive, figurative style that is characteristic of her oeuvre.
The screen print is executed on paper and measures 38 by 55 centimeters. It is a limited edition, with this copy being number 366 of 500.
Unframed, with a mat and wooden backing, bringing the artwork to a total size of 50x60cm. The composition depicts a stylized butterfly figure against a bright yellow background, with accents in blue, green, red, and white. The work is hand-signed and dated by the artist.
The artwork is in good condition, with slight discoloration visible without the mat.
Some small stains are visible on the paper under the mat; see photos.
This screen print adds a playful and colorful element to any interior. The work comes into its own particularly well in a modern or eclectic space, where it can serve as a striking accent on the wall.
