This is a set of two iconic armchairs from the Italian design brand Zanotta. It concerns the 'Gilda' model, a famous design by Carlo Mollino from the 1950s, known for its unique combination of materials and sculptural form. The chairs have an elegant chrome-plated metal frame, combined with a black leather seat and backrest. The armrests and the distinctive, open-worked headrest are finished with woven leather, which provides an exciting contrast and extra comfort. This design is a beautiful example of Italian design from the middle of the last century. The armchairs are in good, used condition and the leather has developed its own character over the years.
