Product description
This is a vintage glass vase from the Polish glassworks Zabkowice, a striking example of European art glass. The piece immediately stands out with its vibrant, swirling colors and organic shape, characteristic of mid-century design.
The vase is hand-blown and features a slender, flared neck that ends in a wavy, heart-shaped opening. The base is spherical and stable. Vertical stripes in red, yellow, blue, and green run through the clear glass, creating a dynamic and cheerful effect. The small, applied glass details on the side add extra texture and character to the design.
Despite its age, the vase has retained its decorative power and displays an authentic vintage character. It is a beautiful object that catches the light and adds a playful splash of color to any space. Perfect as a standalone decorative piece on a sideboard or in an open cabinet, where it brings a touch of retro charm. Although the vase appears not to be transparent, one of the photos proves the opposite. You can see fingers shining through here.
This vase is extremely tall for its kind, 36 cm. Produced between 1960-1970.
A true centerpiece.
