◼HISTORY & DESIGN
Yin Yang Coffee table by Willy Rizzo, Italy, 1970s. A photographer for Bardot and Dalí who became a designer in Rome, Rizzo made reception furniture his signature.
The emerald green tinted burl wood top rotates 360° above a very dark brown lacquered wood disc with black reflections. This disc houses a brass tray for bottles or an ice bucket.
The burl wood is mirror-matched, under a glossy varnish that plays with light: emerald in daylight, almost black against the light.
◼TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Ø 106 cm × H 39 cm. Emerald green tinted burl wood veneer, very dark brown lacquered wood structure, brass tray, glass plate on the lower level. 360° rotation.
◼CONDITION REPORT (Gallery Transparency)
Excellent vintage condition, smooth rotation. No visible chips or cracks on the burl wood top.
Patinated brass: fine scratches, small oxidation spots at the bottom of the tray. Lacquer missing on an area of the base, recessed under the belt. Micro-scratches from use on the lacquered surfaces.
