About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This is a vintage rocking elephant from the 1980s, produced as a promotional item for the children's shoe brand Elefanten. The piece is characterized by its minimalist and stylized form, capturing the essence of an elephant with simple, geometric shapes. The construction is made of wood, with the body painted in a vibrant red and the runners in a natural wood tone. This design was typical of the playful and functional children's furniture design of that era. The combination of the bold color and light wood creates an appealing visual contrast. The item is in good condition, consistent with its age and original function as a children's toy. It shows a characteristic patina that bears witness to its history and makes it an authentic collector's item. This rocking elephant is not only a functional toy but also a decorative object that adds a touch of retro charm to a child's room or play area. Its design makes it an interesting piece for collectors of vintage promotional items or unique children's furniture. This item was never intended for sale. It could not be bought anywhere.
