Product description
Large, handcrafted vintage serving tray from the 1970s in Italian Hollywood Regency / Mid-Century style, entirely in the design language of Gabriella Crespi, Vivai del Sud and Bonacina.
The round tray impresses with the combination of warm, natural rattan (wicker) and two elegantly curved solid brass handles. With its generous diameter of 45 cm (53.5 cm including handles), it is perfect as a representative bar tray, as a centerpiece on a dining table or as a stable top for an upholstered stool (ottoman).
Craftsmanship details:
Weave: Strong rattan worked in concentric spiral coil technique, with a tightly braided, raised edge.
Handles: D-shaped handles made of solid brass with an authentic, aged patina. Classically riveted to the body with four continuous brass split rivets each.
Substructure: Reinforced cross frame with an integrated stand ring on the underside – this ensures the tray lies flat and does not bend even under heavy loads (e.g. bottles and glasses).

Condition:
Very good, well-maintained vintage condition. The rattan weave is firm, clean and completely intact (no breaks or water stains). The brass fittings are secure and show a warm, authentic patina.
