Beautiful and exceptionally large original vintage ceramic table lamp from the 1960s/70s.
The lamp features a striking sculptural design with a wide round base and a tall cylindrical structure. The heavy reactive Fat Lava glaze is truly stunning: deep black and anthracite combined with brown, ochre, gold, and subtle blue-green nuances. Due to the glaze, every side is different.
A true statement lamp with clear Mid-Century Modern and Brutalist influences. Nowadays, similar models are being reproduced as retro lamps; this is an original example from the 1960s/70s.
The brass-colored stem and vintage fitting complete the ensemble. Equipped with a foot switch, the lamp works properly.
The manufacturer has not been determined, and therefore I am deliberately not attributing the lamp to a specific designer or ceramics factory.

Beautiful and exceptionally large original vintage ceramic table lamp from the 1960s/70s.
The lamp features a striking sculptural design with a wide circular base and tall cylindrical center. The heavy reactive Fat Lava glaze is particularly beautiful, combining deep black and anthracite with brown, ochre, gold and subtle blue-green tones. The glaze varies around the entire lamp, making every angle unique.
A true statement piece with strong Mid-Century Modern and Brutalist influences. Similar designs are reproduced today as retro lamps; this is an original period piece dating from the 1960s/70s.
Finished with a brass-colored stem and vintage fitting. The lamp is fitted with a foot switch and is in working condition.
