Product description
For sale here is the most famous work "Dandelion" by the Chinese artist Wu Fan (1924 - 2015) from 1959. It is a color lithograph and the motif won the gold medal in the woodcut print category in Leipzig. The picture shows a girl kneeling next to her basket and blowing a dandelion - an everyday motif that reminds us of carefree childhood and the lightness of being. Both the minimalist design and the use of the golden ratio make this work of art so pleasing and attractive to the eye. The print including frame is 41.5 cm x 31.5 cm, whereby the frame is approx. 1 cm wide. Condition: the condition is good to very good. The paper is slightly yellowed (evenly, not stained), which gives the picture a special patina. There is a small yellowish stain on the left side of the picture (at the height of the dandelion), which is not noticeable in a negative way and was photographed separately in a picture. Otherwise 2-3 smaller dark mini spots that cannot be captured photographically. The frame is undamaged. Overall a great, special piece of art history.
